Your comfort is my primary concern. I have compiled aftercare advice specific to each treatment that we offer, so that you may get the best possible results for the longest possible time.

For 24 hours after treatment 

No sunbathing or sun beds

No steam or sauna

No swimming or hot tubs

Do not have a very hot bath or shower

Do not use any perfumed products on areas waxed.

Do not apply any self tan or makeup on areas waxed.

Avoid touching the area.

Avoid tight clothing.

Avoid heavy exercise.

Exfoliate 2-3 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs and always moisturise afterwards.

Always wear gloves when cleaning, gardening or washing up.

Apply cuticle oil twice a day.

Apply hand cream every day.

Apply foot cream every evening.

Use a foot file and exfoliating scrub to keep hard skin under control.

Follow the product recommendations of your therapist.

Drink plenty of water.

Avoid swimming for 12 hours.

Do not apply makeup for the rest of the day.

To keep skin at its best have regular facials every 4-6 weeks.

Increase your water intake.

Avoid stimulants like Tea, Coffee & Alcohol.

Take it easy!

Keeping your HD Brow looking salon perfect, proper care and maintenance is required.

Follow your stylist’s recommendations and avoid tweezering in between appointments.

Avoid the use of make-up and facial cleaners other that HD Brows products around the brow area for the next 24 hours.

Avoid prolonged contact with direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam-rooms and swimming pools for 24 hours after the procedure.

Avoid exfoliating and anti ageing products around the brow area for 3 days with side of the treatment.

It is advisable not to use any fake tanning products for the face for around 2 to 3 days either side of the treatment.. If you do wish to use a fake tanning product on your face, apply a barrier to the hair and small area around the brow prior to tanning to prevent dis-colouration of your tint.

You must inform your HD Brow stylist immediately should you experience any prolonged swelling, itch rash, bruising, skin grazing or cuts to that they can advise you on the ccorrect procedure.


  • For the first 24 hours after your treatment it’s important not to allow water to come in to contact with your lashes
  • For 2 days afterwards do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water
  • Do not use waterproof mascara
  • Use oil free make-up remover if mascara is worn (only use a water-based mascara)
  • Don’t rub your eyes when washing your face – always pat the lashes dry after cleansing
  • Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics)
  • Don’t forget to brush your lashes after getting them wet
  • Ensure you use lash conditioning serum nightly
